About us

The Use Your Paths project is being run by the Ramblers' Association, a charity and Britain's leading organisation for walkers.

Use Your Paths aims to get more people using the paths (rights of way) network, using paths more often, venturing further afield, and exploring different routes.

To enable everyone to enjoy the experience of using paths to the full, we aim to inform people of their rights on paths and let them know how to report any problems they encounter.

At the heart of the Use Your Paths project is the key message that the rights of way network is an important and valuable resource.

Mapping used on this site comes from a variety of sources. Data from Ordnance Survey and Collins Bartholomew Ltd is used to illustrate the grid squares that have been submitted as 'completed' for the Challenge, allowing participants to confirm or further edit their submission. This mapping data may not be reproduced in any format.
